Happy Thanks-Making!

What is thanks-Making?

Picture
Thanks-making is  STEAM Discovery Lab's way of giving thanks to all of the amazing educators that inspire their students with hands-on learning opportunities!  Educators can submit a lesson plan for their favorite hands on activity, and STEAM Discovery Lab will pick our favorite submissions and send a teacher of the submitter's choice the materials needed (up to $100) to conduct that lesson in their classroom!

Awesome Ideas + Resources + Giving = Inspiring the next generation of innovative thinkers.

All submissions are due on November 26th, and winners will be announced by December 7th!

How do I apply?

APPLY
Click the button above for the application! Submit your idea and tell us who you'd like materials to get shared with!
A complete submission includes the following information:
  • Overview of the lesson/how to do the activity with students
  • List of materials needed (must be <$100)
  • Name/address of teacher you'd like the materials to get sent to

What types of lesson plans are you looking for?

We are looking for awesome ideas! Anything that gets students learning by doing would be considered an appropriate submission. For an example lesson plan check out the PDF below.

What if I don't have a teacher in mind that I want materials to get sent to?

No worries! We have a network of teachers from under-resourced schools that we can send the materials to.
