Let's Get Started!
Students will be divided into teams of two, each team receives a handout with some Questions to answer so that the students have some direction. Along with the handout, students are given a Mind-storms Kit that includes a pre-programmed EV3 brick. Once students begin they should play around and get familiar with the materials provided for about 10 min.

The activity handout is linked above and the EV3 should look like the above image by the end of the first phase.
After everyone gets a chance to start we will check in as a group to see if there are any major questions. For the next 20 min students will work together to build and test their designs while working to complete the handout. When time's up each team will present what they have so far. After each team presents, students will have another 10 min to make final edits to their design. Finally, each team will take turns trying to complete the obstacle course.
