Nation of Makers is a national nonprofit dedicated to helping support America’s maker organizations through community building, resource sharing, and advocacy, within the maker movement and beyond. Hackerspaces are community-operated physical places, where people share their interest in tinkering with technology, meet and work on their projects, and learn from each other. |
The MIT Edgerton Center educates students through student-led clubs and teams, courses in engineering and high-speed photography, and machine shops and a maker space where students design, fabricate, and test their out-of-the-classroom projects. |
